We have informal settlements throughout South Africa (you can see the shacks in the picture). These are now being electrified and proper houses are getting built. This pic was taken at Cato Manor in Durban when none of this was happening, which makes the ‘Foto and Video’ sign (sticking up out of nowhere) all the more intriguing…
