Nguni cattle are the traditional cattle raised and herded by the Zulu people of South Africa. They are hardy, drought and disease resistant and perfectly suited to the climate of KwaZulu-Natal. In recent years, they have reached iconic status due to their beautiful hides and the naming practice associated with it.
